The wine was aged in new and one-year old French oak barrels for 18 months. The top 42 barrels were selected for their structure, fruit concentration, mouthfeel, acidity, and potential age-ability. 2 barrels of exceptional Cabernet Franc (4%) was added for additional complexity.
