This Merlot (72.5%) dominated blend was directly pressed, which provided the lovely pink colour, while the white varietals (Kerner, Riesling, Pinot Gris) were gently pressed for pure fruit expression. The varietals were blended together post-fermentation and then aged in stainless steel tanks to enhance aromatics.
