Nose: Vanilla, freshly-cut straw and slight oak. Palate: Vanilla carries through from the nose, red berry sweetness and the spiciness from the rye appears on the back palate. Finish: Short and spicy. Unusually - not much tannin dryness that one might have expected from the Cabernet casks.
